When Was Your Last Adventure?

Happy Sunday, friends. I hope that this email finds you well. I wanted to let each and every one of you know, that I am holding a space for you in my heart. I want you to know that you are loved, you are beautiful, you are powerful, and you matter.

Sometimes we need a step back from reality. Especially with the pain and tension that currently exists in the world. I finally got that step back, and was able to take a deep breath. This last week, I got to travel across the country (by myself for the first time!) and go to North Carolina!

This trip was something I wanted to cross off my bucket list for so long, I had been wanting to reconnect with family, experience the beauty of nature, and just travel and take an adventure. For the last year, my adventures usually include going to get my car washed, and pick up my groceries.. Sometimes if I am lucky, I even get a little wild and get Starbucks.

This was a huge step for someone who has anxiety just walking around the grocery store. I stepped completely out of my comfort zone, and was ready for change! I reconnected with family, got to explore the beauty of North Carolina, and had such a beautiful morning routine: I drank coffee every morning with the cows grazing right outside. It was definitely a different way of starting my day checking emails, and listening to Lady Gaga at home.

I was having so much fun, that I decided to extend my trip an extra few days. I got to spend time with my beautiful grandmother. We got to eat delicious food, look through pictures together, and shared some hilarious moments together.

Below are some pictures from my trip! I got to drive a boat (another thing crossed off my bucket list!) and I even found a delicious East Coast Coffee Shop that I did not know that I owned! (And yes, I bought all of their merchandise with my name on it!)

This trip really was a life-changing trip that I have been processing and journaling. I am planning on going back very soon, hopefully in the fall.

I hope that sometime this year you have gotten to take an amazing adventure. If you haven't yet, I hope you get too. Adventures and a change of scenery are so good for the soul.

With love,

Talia
